Haryana Police has solved about 50 cases of laptop thefts from cars with the arrest of four persons in Gurugram.
Chandigarh, Aug 16 – Haryana Police has solved about 50 cases of laptop thefts from cars with the arrest of four persons in Gurugram.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Police Department said that acting swiftly on secret information, police arrested two persons on August 8, 2017 who had been identified as Amar and Vishal, residents of Delhi and took them on six-day police remand. During interrogation, they confessed committing incidents of stealing laptops after breaking car windows. The accused also revealed names of their two associates. Following the information, the police also arrested other two accused who had been identified as Pawan Naidu and Anil, residents of Delhi.
The spokesman said that during interrogation, the accused confessed that they have one more associate who used to help them in committing such incidents. The accused used to sell the stolen laptops to a person in Madangir, Delhi. He said that the remaining two persons would soon be arrested and stolen laptops would be recovered from their possession.
He said that the accused Pawan Naidu was declared Police P.O in a case registered at Police Station Sadar.
