handigarh, July 3 – The current monsoon has a good start in Haryana as many parts of the state has received moderate to heavy rainfall on July 3, 2017.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of Meteorology Department said that district Mahendragarh has witnessed highest 37.8 mm rainfall on the same day followed by Faridabad which had received 35.3 mm rainfall.
He said that 11 mm rainfall had been recorded in district Mewat, 9.3 mm in district Palwal, 8.8 mm in Gurugram, 4.6 mm in Yamunanagar, 4 mm in Rewari, 0.4 mm in Hisar, 0.3 mm each in Karnal and Kurukshetra and 0.2 mm in district Bhiwani.
