Appeal to the people sitting on ‘dharnas’ in the State by CM.

Chandigarh, Mar 14 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that an appeal had been made to the people sitting on ‘dharnas’ in the State and the issues could be resolved by sitting across the table. He said that the officers of the State Government had already held two rounds of meetings under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary, Mr. D.S. Dhesi and the matter could only be solved through dialogue.
The Chief Minister, who was interacting with media persons at New Delhi today, said that though there was a call for protest on March 20, but he hoped that the issue would be resolved in a peaceful manner.
Replying to a question, the Chief Minister said that with a view to maintain peace, the Central Government has been liaisoning with all concerned quarters and the State Government has made all necessary arrangements. No problem would arise, he added.
