Management & Cultural Fest “PARWAAZ” began at University Business School, Panjab University Regional Centre, Ludhiana today.

Ludhiana 27 Feb,Management & Cultural Fest “PARWAAZ” began at University Business School, Panjab University Regional Centre, Ludhiana today. The two days power pact event is going to be full of fun and entertainment for the students. Prof. Ravi Inder Singh, Co-ordinator, UBS Ludhiana inaugurated the event. He welcomed the guests, participants and faculty members from various colleges and universities. He highlighted that UBS Ludhiana always focuses on developing managerial skills in its students. With the same vision department started organizing this Fest PARWAAZ since last year to provide a platform to the students of UBS Ludhiana for honing their managerial skills and to the participants across the region to prove their metal. He further apprised the audience that more than 260 teams comprising approximately 2000 students from Punjab, Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana and Bihar are participating in this fest.

A plethora of activites like Bheja Fry (Business Quiz), Rangrasiya (Pure Arts), Singing Competition, Udaan (Business Plan Competition), Ad Mad Show, Sultan of Sales, Guru (Best Manager Competition) etc. were organized on the day one of the event. Fashion Show and War of Bands were the major highlights of the day.

Sh.AmanpreetBrar, Managing Director, Hoshiarpur Central Co-operative Bank was the chief guest for Fashion Show. While addressing, he congratulated the director, staff and students of UBS Ludhiana for organizing the event. Mr. Vikrant Sharma, event choreographer and Dr. Amanpreet Kaur, Miss Punjab 2017 were also present as judges for the fashion show.
Sh. Bhupinder Singh Sidhu, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Investigations), Ludhiana was the chief guest for War of Bands. Mr. Sidhu appreciated the efforts of faculty and students for organizing the fest at such a large scale. Total seven rock bands participated in the competition War of Bands.

Star night, Mushaira and Dance competition will be the major attractions for second day. Poets from different universities and educational institutions will be participating in the Mushaira. Renowned Punjabi Singer Mr. Dilpreet Dhillon and Sufi Singer Mr. Harmeet Singh will entertain the audience with their melodious voice in the star night.
