Chandigarh February 16: The Court of Additional Sessions Judge, Rohtak Mr Ashwani Kumar has convicted Suresh, Patwari posted in the office of Land Acquisition Officer (LAO), Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA), Rohtak for four years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 15,000.
While giving this information here today, a spokesman of Haryana State Vigilance Bureau said that he was caught red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from complainant Mr Sandeep Kumar of village Sargathal, district Sonipat in lieu of demarcation of complainant’s plot at Kabir Colony, Rohtak.
He said that a case under sections 7 and 13 of Prevention of Corruption Act was registered against the accused at Bureau police station at Rohtak.
