Capt. Abhimanyu, today expressed complete faith in the judicial system .

Chandigarh, Feb 16 – Haryana Finance Minister, Capt. Abhimanyu, today expressed complete faith in the judicial system and said that if the court delivers its verdict in favour of granting reservation as demanded by protesters, the State Government would, without delay, write to the Central Government to include the law in the Ninth Schedule of the Constitution.
Appealing to the people of the State to maintain peace and harmony, he said that the law to grant reservation to Jat and other communities which was passed unanimously in the Haryana Vidhan Sabha during the tenure of the present State Government was the strongest such law in the country. This law reflects the straightforward intentions and policy of the State Government, led by Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, he added.
He hoped that the case presented by the State Government in the High Court over the last 11 months would yield positive results, and the High Court would deliver its verdict in favour of granting reservation. A renowned lawyer is presenting the case on behalf of the State Government, he added.
Capt. Abhimanyu said that the present government had earlier granted reservation to the Jat community in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan in the correct manner, due to which it was still standing. However, the previous Congress Government in Haryana had granted reservation in a half-baked manner, which was dismissed in the Supreme Court. The entire State is bearing the cost of the politics carried out by the Congress in this matter, whereas the present government has not politicised the issue and has resolved such matters with the support of the entire society. The reservation to these communities has been granted with the cooperation of all, he added.
