Janmashtami Celebration :

PANCHKULA 24/8/16,With the great fervor to mark the birth of Lord Krishna, Janmashtami a religious festival was celebrated with all gaiety and enthusiasm by the Primary wing of DC Model se Sr. Sec School. The Tiny tots dressed in colourful and glittering attire as bal Krishna and Radha . Students mesmerized everyone by Singing bhajans and tapping their feet depicting their devotion to lord Krishna. The Students did not fail to enjoy the Bal Leela of Lord Krishna on Smart Board making the day significant. To add to the celebration the students along with their teachers visited Temple at Sec 2 Panchkula . The teachers explained the students the importance of the day by showing them the Jhankis displayed in the temple and narrating them the related legends and stories of the childhood of Lord Krishna which the students found amusing as well as interesting . The children came back with Prasad .The Principal Smt USha Gupta congratulated everyone on the occasion and wished the children to value our traditional and rituals .
