Chandigarh, August 10 – With a view to promote Tikkar Taal, Morni and Pinjore Gardens as ideal destinations for a weekend getaway, Haryana Tourism would offer special buffet and activities for visitors at its complexes in these two locations from August 13 to 18, 2016.
While stating this here today, Managing Director, Haryana Tourism Development Corporation, Mr. Sameer Pal Srow, said that nestled in the hills, Tikkar Taal was an ideal weekend getaway.
He said that visitors could stay in log huts or luxurious rooms at the Haryana Tourism Complex in Tikkar Taal, which also offers dormitories for those with limited budgets. The Complex also has an open-air restaurant, with boating and adventure activities as added attractions.
He said that similarly, the majestic Pinjore Gardens have always been a perfect weekend destination for tourists. These Gardens, built in the 17th century, are the only Mughal Gardens outside Kashmir. This seven-terraced marvel has fountains, water channels, orchards, and facilities including king-size suites, restaurant, bar and motel, he added.
