Haryana Granth Akademi would make the Golden Jubilee year of the State a ‘golden year’ in terms of publication of ‘granths’.
Chandigarh, July 19 – The development of Haryana since its inception in 1966 would be chronicled in the form of ‘granths’, the digital editions of which would also be made available online.
This was stated by newly-appointed Vice-Chairman of Haryana Granth Akademi, Prof. Virender Singh Chauhan, at Panchkula, near here, today. Prof. Chauhan today assumed charge in the presence of Member of Legislative Assembly, Panchkula, Mr. Gian Chand Gupta and Chairman, Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board, Mr. Sanjay Bhatia.
Outlining some of the tasks to be undertaken by the Akademi, he said that the Akademi would make the Golden Jubilee year of the State a ‘golden year’ in terms of publication of ‘granths’. Texts related to the history and literature of Haryana would be published and made available in digital form. Apart from this, the Akademi would make efforts to ensure publication of good educational books, he added.
