Dispute Settlement Committee constituted under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary.

Chandigarh, July 17- Haryana government has constituted a Dispute Settlement Committee under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary to decide the structure, process and mechanism to settle existing disputes or litigations pertaining to various departments as per the provision of Enterprises Promotion Policy 2015.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Industries and Commerce Department said that the other members of the Committee would include Additional Chief Secretaries or Principal Secretaries of Power, Excise and Taxation, Environment, Town and Country Planning, Finance, Industries and Commerce, Labour, Urban Local Bodies and Forest Departments. Director General, Industries and Commerce would be the Member Secretary. Any other Principal Secretary of Head of Department could be invited for the meeting. The headquarters of the Dispute Settlement Committee would be at Chandigarh.
He said that the Committee would take up the long standing disputes of the industrial units with various state departments, with Arbitrator, Tribunal and Courts pertaining for more than one year. The Committee would evolve scheme to settle the disputes out of the court, if found feasible. The industrial unit would submit its request to the Dispute Settlement Committee through E-Biz portal of the State that is www.investharyana.gov.in. The Committee would meet once in two months or earlier, if required.
