Haryana Government has circulated instructions concerning revised criteria
Chandigarh, June 14 – Haryana Government has circulated instructions concerning revised criteria to keep socially-advanced individuals or sections out of the purview of the reservation for Other Backward Classes (OBCs).
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that to determine creamy layer out of Other Backward Classes, the Government of India had raised the income limit from Rs 4.5 lakh to Rs six lakh per year so as to give employment on civil jobs and services under the Government of India and admission to Central educational institutions.
He said that a written communication to this effect has been sent to all Heads of Departments, Divisional Commissioners of Rohtak, Gurgaon, Hisar and Ambala, Registrar, Punjab and Haryana High Court, all Deputy Commissioners, Managing Directors and Chief Administrators of Boards, Corporations and Public Undertakings, Registrars, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar and Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa. They have been asked to strictly abide by the instructions dated May 27,2013 and May 31,2013.
