International-level Naturopathy institute would be constructed on 18 acres of land in Panchkula-Vij.
Chandigarh, June 12 – The Haryana Health and Sports Minister, Mr Anil Vij, has said that an international-level Naturopathy institute would be constructed on 18 acres of land in Panchkula. Besides, the state government has asked the Central Government to set up a 50-beded AYUSH hospital in the state.
Disclosing this while interacting with media persons at a state level yoga training camp organized in Panchkula today, Mr Vij said that the state government was making all possible efforts to revive the ancient medicinal methods of the country. The Naturopathy Institute at Panchkula would provide world-class medical facilities according to Ayurveda discipline.
A panchkarma centre would also be constructed in every district of the state. So far, such centres have been opened in four districts where patients are being treated through different disciplines of Ayurveda. Ayurvedic doctors are being posted in the primary health centres in the rural areas to provide the rural people proper medical care.
Expressing his gratitude to Swami Ramdev for imparting yoga training at the camp, Mr Vij said that yoga not only brings positivity in thoughts and behaviour but also keeps one physically and mentally fit. Realising the positive results of Yoga, the UNO has also decided to celebrate June 21 as International Yoga Day, he added.
