‘City Forest’ would be developed over about 190 hectares in Aravalli range.
Chandigarh, June 1 – Haryana Forests Minister, Rao Narbir Singh, said that ‘City Forest’ would be developed over about 190 hectares in Aravalli range in district Gurgaon. In the first phase, city forest would be developed over about 58 hectares in village Sikanderpur Ghosi.
He said that there was a scheme to start development of city forest during the current financial year. Development would be carried out in a planned manner over the next four years. A target has been set to complete this project by 2019-20.
