Chandigarh, May 30 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, said that representatives of Jat Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti have assured to express their demands through peaceful demonstration on June 5, 2016.
The Chief Minister was talking to media persons shortly after Union Rural Development Minister, Mr. Birender Singh, filed his nomination papers for Rajya Sabha seat from Haryana, at Vidhan Sabha here today.
He said that in a democratic set up, everyone has a right to express their views in a peaceful manner. Both government and administration have to adopt required procedure to maintain law and order.
In reply to a question, the Chief Minister said that efforts were being made for unanimous election of candidates to both seats of Rajya Sabha.CC
