More services under the ambit of online mode.
Chandigarh, May 28 – As a part of its ongoing drive to bring more services under the ambit of online mode, Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has added two more services for the allottees and the general public. These are online booking of community centres, open spaces and parks; and spot billing of water and sewerage charges and online payments.
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that initially, the pilot run for both services was being made in Panchkula and Gurgaon Estates.
He said that applicants may visit HUDA website www.huda.gov.in for availing these services. For payment of water bills, the applicants may also visit Punjab National Bank, IDBI and YES bank, in addition to the online mode. The consumers may also pay their bills through the mobile application ‘HUDA CONSUMER APP’, which may be downloaded from the Google Play store.
He said that apart from this, consumers could now apply online for availing new water and sewerage connections.
