CHANDIGARH, May 27-Haryana Government today announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for any person who would give credible information about the criminals involved in heinous crime of triggering a blast in a Haryana Roadways bus, which was on its way to Chandigarh from Sonepat yesterday.

While stating this here today, a spokesman of Haryana Police Department said that the blast occurred near Kurukshetra and some passengers were injured.

He said that a First Information Report No.256 dated May 26,2016 was registered under section 307 of Indian Penal Code, sections 3 and 5 of Explosives Substances Act, section 4 of Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act and section 16 of Unlawful Activities Prevention Act at Police Station Sadar Thana, Kurukshetra.

He said that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has already been constituted under the chairmanship of Haryana Additional Director General of Police,Crime, Mr S.S.Kapoor. The team has already started its investigation, he added.
