Haryana Government has amended the stock limit of pulses.

Chandigarh, May 26 – Haryana Government has amended the stock limit of pulses, whether whole or split, with or without husk, prescribed under Clause III of the Haryana Prevention of Hoarding and Maintenance of Quality Orders, 1977.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Food and Supplies Department said that as per the amendment, the stock limit of manufacturer (Dal Mills) would be five per cent of the total milling done during the preceding financial year for the raw material instead of the earlier stock limit of 1/24th of annual grinding capacity for raw material, and 2.5 per cent of the total milling done during the preceding financial year for the finished material instead of 1/48th of annual grinding capacity for finished material.
He said that no amendment has been made in the stock limit for dealers including wholesalers, distributing agents, selling agents or such persons, which stands at 250 quintals. Similarly, no amendment has been made in the stock limit for retailers, which stands at 25 quintals.
