Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Mr Kanwar Pal unveiled the trophy of 2nd Shaheed Bhagat Singh Haryana Rural Premier Junior League Cricket Championship at Panchkula.

Chandigarh, May 3 – Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Mr Kanwar Pal unveiled the trophy of 2nd Shaheed Bhagat Singh Haryana Rural Premier Junior League Cricket Championship at Panchkula, near here today.
The championship will begin on May 23, 2016 at Panchkula in which 22 teams including 12 from rural areas of Telangana, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Union Territory Chandigarh and four International teams from Pakistan, Iran, Nepal and United Arab Emirates will participate. The championship will be organised by Cricket Federation of Haryana with the objective to develop and promote sports among youth in the age group of under 14 and 19. The tournament will be held at Cricket Stadium, Sector-3, Panchkula, Cricket Stadium Sector-16, Chandigarh and JR Institute Cricket Stadium, Barwala, Panchkula. The inaugural and closing ceremonies of the championship will be held at Panchkula on May 23 and 27 respectively.
Those present on the occasion included MLA Mr Gian Chand Gupta, Haryana BJP (Women) Vice President Mrs Banto Kataria, and Secretary General, Cricket Federation of Haryana Mr Amarjit Kumar, Working President Mr Vinod Kumar, Mr Youvraj Kaushik and SDM Panchkula Mrs. Radhika Singh.
