31,98,407 metric tonnes of wheat arrieved in the mandis of Haryanatil date.

Chandigarh, April 16- Out of the total arrival of 31,98,407 metric
tonnes of wheat in the mandis of Haryana since the beginning of the
procurement season on April 1, 2016, as many as 31,98,157 metric
tonnes of wheat has sofar been purchased by the government procurement agencies at the Minimum Support Price.
While giving this information here today, a spokesman of the
Food and Supplies Department said that the procurement process was
running smoothly in all the mandis of the state.
Giving break-up of the wheat procured by government
agencies, he said that while 8,99,101 metric tonnes of wheat has been
procured by the Food and Supplies Department, HAFED has procured
10,77,749 metric tonnes. The Food Corporation of India has purchased 3,33,185 metric tones of wheat, the Haryana Agro Industries Corporation 2,55,590 metric tonnes, and the Haryana Warehousing Corporation 6,32,532 metric tonnes. Apart from this, 250 metric tonnes of wheat has been purchased by the traders, he added.
Referring to the wheat arrivals in different districts, he
said that Jind topped the table with 3,97,847 metric tonnes, Kaithal
3,79,256 metric tonnes; Karnal 3,71,708 metric tonnes, Kurukshetra
2,54,998 metric tones and Sirsa 2,39,880 metric tones. Similarly, 2,11,873 meteric tones of wheat has arrived in Hisar
, 1,90,155 metric tones in Palwal and , 1,66,255 metric
tonnes in Panipat. Fatehabad has received 1,36,262 metric tonnes, Sonipat 1,30,927 metric tonnes, Ambala 1,19,909 metric tonnes, Rohtak 1,07,157 metric tonnes, Bhiwani 1,02,800 metric tonnes, Faridabad 82,756 metric tonnes, Jhajjjar 78,911 metric tonnes, Yamunanagar 68,333 metric tonnes, Mewat 53,279 metric tonnes, Gurgaon 45,096 metric tonnes, Rewari 29,603 metric tonnes, Narnaul 20,630 metric tonnes and Panchkula 10,772 metric tonnes.
