Haryana State Vigilance Bureau has caught Desh Raj, Kanoongo (Retd.), red-handed while taking an illegal gratification.

Chandigarh, March 28- Haryana State Vigilance Bureau has caught Desh Raj, Kanoongo (Retd.), red-handed while taking an illegal gratification of Rs 10,500 from Surender, a resident of district Hisar on behalf of Narender Singh, Kanoongo posted at Barwala in district Hisar in lieu of report of measurement of land.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Bureau said that in another case, Assistant Sub-Inspector, Inder Singh posted at Police Station Bhuna, district Fatehabad, was caught red-handed while accepting an illegal gratification of Rs 10,000 from Sukh Sagar, a resident of Nadhori in district Fatehabad in lieu of compromise of the complaint.
He said that separate cases have been registered against the both accused under various sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act at Bureau’s Police Station, Hisar.
