To re-establish India as ‘Vishva Guru’, every person should bring change in him Dr. Mohan Bhagwat .

Chandigarh, March 4 –Sarsanghchalak, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Dr. Mohan Bhagwat today said that to re-establish India as ‘Vishva Guru’, every person should bring change in himself by imbibing the principles of the Bhagavad Gita. He said that the teachings of the Gita were relevant for the entire world.
Dr. Mohan Bhagwat was speaking at the foundation stone laying ceremony of ‘Gita Gyan Sansthanam’ in Kurukshetra today.
Speaking on the occasion, Haryana Governor, Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki said that this institution would work towards disseminating the divine message of the Bhagavad Gita to the entire world. He also announced to give Rs one crore for the institution.
Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal reiterated the State Government’s commitment towards maintaining brotherhood and peace adding that ‘Sadbhavna Week’ would be celebrated in the State to re-instill the sense of brotherhood among the people. He said that the Government was working with the aim of ‘Haryana Ek – Haryanvi Ek’. He said that though some anti-social elements had recently disrupted the harmony of society, the State Government had tackled the situation through dialogue and use of law. The Chief Minister said that the State Government had decided to give six acres of land for the ‘Gita Gyan Sansthanam’, which was being established with the objective of gathering ideas and showing a new path to the people. He said that this would put an end to conflicts in the society. He announced to give Rs one crore from his discretionary fund to the institution, which would include a Gita research centre and a museum.
Haryana Governor, Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki and the Chief Minister also performed ‘bhoomi pujan’ of ‘Gita Gyan Sansthanam’. The institution is being constructed at a cost of Rs 100 crores and is likely to be completed within three years.
Yoga guru Baba Ramdev also announced to give Rs one crore to the institution on behalf of Patanjali Yogpeeth Trust.
Four books penned by Mr. Dhaniram Bharti and a documentary on ‘Gita Gyan Sansthanam’ were also released on the occasion.
Those present on the occasion included Himachal Pradesh Governor, Mr. Acharya Dev Vrat, Haryana Tourism Minister, Mr. Ram Bilas Sharma, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Mr. Krishan Kumar, Member of Parliament, Mr. Rattan Lal Kataria, President, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Dr. Pravin Togadia, National Executive Member, RSS, Mr. Indresh Kumar, Gita scholar Swami Gyananand, other senior leaders and prominent personalities.
