Mr Manohar Lal has expressed grief over the sad demise of former Lok Sabha Speaker, Mr P. A. Sangma.

Chandigarh March 4: Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has expressed grief over the sad demise of former Lok Sabha Speaker, Mr P. A. Sangma, who passed away following cardiac arrest in New Delhi today. He was 68.
In a condolence message issued here today, the Chief Minister described Mr Sangma as seasoned statesman who worked relentlessly for amelioration of the marginalised sections of the society. Mr Sangma had also served as the Chief Minister of Meghalaya before being elected as Speaker.
The Chief Minister expressed his heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family and prayed that the departed soul might rest in peace.
