Haryana Government made registration offices more people-friendly.
Chandigarh February 26: With a view to make registration offices more people-friendly, increase transparency in the registration work of “Vasika” and check corruption, the Haryana Government has decided to set up Help Desks in e-Disha Centres in the State.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of Revenue and Disaster Management Department said that as per the new registration system in the State, the drafts of 14 Vasikas related to registry have been made available on the department’s website www.jamabandi.nic.
He said that the Department has ensured better delivery of services to the people through new techniques. The Vasikas produced for registry are checked according to the check list and executor is given time for registration. This facility is provided free of cost. The executor is present in the registration office at the same time and they are given receipt and registration of Vasika is done. The registered Vasika is sent to e-disha centres the same day manually or through speed post as per the consent of concerned parties. He said that this e-registration system is completely transparent. This system has not only helped in keeping a check on corruption but also eliminated the tendency of delay. As many as 7,10,518 appointments have been given from January 1, 2015 to January 1, 2016 out of which 6,01,026 Vasika have been registered. Out of these 5, 94,237 registered Vasika have been made available, he added.
He said that 85 per cent Jamabandi in the State has been made online upto February 1, 2016. The copies of the Jamabandi are given at the Tehsil and Sub Tehsil Centres. He said that as per the State Government’s policy of zero pendency, mutations were finalized on 12th and 26th of every month. In case anyone faces any problem regarding mutation or Vasika, he could contact the Deputy Commissioner concerned for the same, he added.
