Army and Police today carried out flag march in Bhiwani city

Chandigarh, February 20 – In view of the ongoing agitation in the State, the joint teams of Army and Police today carried out flag march in Bhiwani city and urged the people to cooperate with District Administration and Army.
The teams of police and Army urged the people not to come out of their houses as curfew had been imposed in the area and maintain peace in their areas. Action would be taken against those found violating the curfew and Section 144.
In view of the ongoing agitation, District Magistrate, Bhiwani, Mr. Pankaj has issued orders to appoint three Duty Magistrates. They included Tehsildar, Mr. Sanjay Bishnoi, Nayab Tehsildar, Ran Singh and Executive Engineer, Public Works (Building and Roads) Department, Mr. P.K. Bagadia.
The District Magistrate has also ordered to shut down all countrymade and foreign liquor vends in the district with immediate effect. Superintendent of Police, all Sub Divisional Magistrates, Deputy Excise and Taxation Commissioner have been directed to shut down the liquor shops in areas concerned till February 22, 2016. In case of violation of these orders, legal action would be initiated.
