National Seminar organized in Govt. PG College, Sector-1,
Panchkula 10-Feb, National Seminar was organized in Govt. PG College, Sector-1, in which 158 teachers from various Colleges & University participated. The Chief Guest was Dr. Geeta Sharma, Joint Director, Higher Education Haryana while Dr. Archana Mishra, Principal presided over the event.
The topic of the Seminar was ‘ Issues & Challenges of Indian Economy in Current Scenario’. The keynote Speaker was Prof. Ashok Chauhan from Deptt. of Economics, Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra.It was organized jointly by Economics & Commerce departments.
Dr. Archana Mishra Welcomed the academicians, researchers & others delegates. Dr. Geeta Sharma stressed on the need of such seminars for the growth of higher education in Haryana. Prof. Ashok Chauhan presented his views on the present status of Indian Economy. The main thrust of the seminar was on the improvement in Indian Economy in this phase of global slump.
The another technical sessions was chaired by Prof. B.S. Bodla, Ex-Chairman, school of Management, Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra & Prof. S.K. Chadha, UBS, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
The Researchers & academicians also presented their research papers based on the various aspects of Indian Economy. The proceedings of the seminar will be published soon.
The coordinator of the Seminar was Prof. R.P. Singhal & co-cordinator was Prof. Reeta Gupta. The event was anchored by Dr. Renuka Dhyani, Sharmila Mann & Anju Jindal effectively.
