Chandigarh January 11: With a view to promote Indian System of Medicine, Panchakarma Centres are being opened in all districts of the State where the body is being made disease free by purifying it using Panchakarma, the world famous Ayurvedic system of medicine of Kerala.
This was stated by Director General, Ayush Dr. Saket Kumar at District Ayurvedic Hospital situated in the premises of Ch. Bansi Lal General Hospital at Bhiwani today.
Dr. Saket directed the concerned officer to make arrangement of all available medicines in the stock so that the patients need not purchase the medicines from outside. He said that it was the clear instructions from the Government that besides providing the treatment to the patients visiting the hospitals, they should also be provided medicines. There were more than 50 approved ayurvedic medicines and all these should be available in the hospital, he added.
