Good education, values and culture are our ancient tradition Diwali bonanza to Roadways employees, the Haryana Government has decided to release their bonus of 2013-14.

Chandigarh, November 4 – Haryana Education Minister, Mr. Ram Bilas Sharma said that good education, values and culture are our ancient tradition and it is our responsibility to maintain them. Therefore, teachers should provide value based education to the new generation so that they become good citizens.

        Mr. Sharma was speaking as the Chief Guest in the opening ceremony of the three-day 29th Haryana State Primary Schools Sports Tournaments and Cultural Activities Competition at Rao Tula Ram Stadium, Rewari today.

        The Education Minister said that Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi has enhanced the pride of the country by taking its culture to other countries, which has given new identity and honour to it. Wishing for a bright future for the students, the Minister encouraged them to play with sportsmanship spirit. It is the priority of the State Government to provide quality education to students, he added.

        He said that parents and teachers should encourage their children from a young age to participate in such sports and cultural competitions so that they could showcase their hidden talent.

Chandigarh, November 4 – Giving Diwali bonanza to Roadways employees, the Haryana Government has decided to release their bonus of 2013-14.

        While giving this information here today, Transport Minister, Mr. Krishan Lal Panwar, said that a notification to this effect has been issued. He said that various unions of Roadways employees had met him recently and demanded to release the bonus. He had given assurance to this effect in the same meeting.

        Giving detailed information, Mr. Panwar said that according to the terms and conditions, the bonus of Rs 5,000 would be admissible to Class III and IV employees of Haryana Roadways, including employees working on daily wages and contractual basis, employees of HREC, Gurgaon, employees working in the Central Workshops of Haryana Roadways and employees working in the office of Director, State Transport.

        The Transport Minister said that efforts were being made to fulfil their other genuine demands which were also discussed in the same meeting.
