In Haryana 761 doctors recruited and 1,000 more doctors and 100 dentists would be soon
Chandigarh, October 26 – Haryana Health Minister, Mr. Anil Vij said that in order to put a complete check on corruption, the tendering process for all types of tenders has been made online in the State which besides generating additional revenue, has also brought complete transparency in the this process.
Mr. Vij was speaking as Chief Guest in a function organized to celebrate one year of present State Government, at Panchkula near here today.
He said that the State Government has eliminated interview system in recruitment to Group-D posts and reserved 12 per cent marks for interview on general category posts. Not only this, the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi has also announced to completely eliminate interview system for non-gazetted posts of Group-D, C and B. Earlier, governments used to sell government jobs, but now youth would get jobs on merit basis, he added.
Mr. Vij said that the BJP Government was working for the interest of the people. He said that the government stood with farmers in their hour of need and awarded compensation amounting to about Rs 1094.25 crore for their damaged crops, which is so far the highest compensation in the history of the State.
With a view to meet shortage of doctors in the State, 761 doctors have been recruited and soon 1,000 more doctors and 100 dentists would be recruited. Apart from this, advertisement has been released for about 2,800 para-medical posts and recruitment on them would soon be started.
