Clean India Campaign completed in Govt. College
On the 3rd day of clean India Campaign, a cleanliness drive was completed at Govt. college sector 1 on Saturday . This was organised by B.P.ED, N.S.S volunteers and students of various departments.This drive was started on the initiative of D.C. Panchkula , Mr. Vivek attray . The campaign was leaded by Dr. Archana Mishra, Principal of the college .
Dr. Mishra encouraged the students and also took part in cleaning the gardens and classes as well . She said ‘It’s our responsibility to keep our college neat and clean because this college is a second home for the students so it is very important not only for the students but also for the teachers’.
Adding to this she said that this may be the closing of this campaign but this drive will continue, each and every department of this college will organize a cleanliness drive every month. Students should know the importance of proper hygiene along with academics.
More than 100 students voluntarily worked for all the 3 days effortlessly . Dr. Saroop , Dr. Nirmal , Yash pal Singh , Narendra Siwach and other staff members worked together to make this campaign a success .
