Open Skill Development Training Institutes for Data Entry in all 21 districts.
Chandigarh, October 8 – Haryana Minister of State for Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes, Mr. Krishan Kumar Bedi has issued directions to the officers to work with dedication to ensure that benefit of various schemes being run by the department reaches the eligible beneficiaries. Strict action would be taken against those officers who are found neglecting their duty.
Mr. Bedi was presiding over a review meeting of all District Welfare Officers here today. He said that District Welfare Officers play significant role in implementation of government schemes for the poor.
He said that the Government under the leadership of Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi at the Centre and Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal at the State, was working for the welfare of the poor by following the principles of ‘Sabka Sath-Sabka Vikas’ and ‘Antodaya’. He said that online system was being implemented as part of zero tolerance towards corruption. He said that complaints have been received regarding irregularities by some District Welfare Officers in Post Matric Scholarship Scheme. Issuing warning to officers, he said that such complaints would not be tolerated in future.
Mr. Bedi directed to open Skill Development Training Institutes for Data Entry in all 21 districts. He said that in this age of computers, more youths could be made employable by imparting computer training to them.
