Chandigarh, 24 September, 2015: The sixth Smart City Consultation–cum-Grievance Reddressal camp of the City Beautiful was held today in the Community Centre of Sector-11, Chandigarh. The camp held under the supervision of Sh. Bhupesh Chaudhary IAS (P), Sh. Rajiv Gupta, Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation and Area Councilor saw active participation from the residents of the sector, who gathered together to provide befitting suggestions to make Chandigarh a smarter city.

During the camp Sh. Bhupesh Chaudhary IAS (P) heard the suggestions of the residents and associations, thereby assuring timely resolution to the problems. The residents of the ward offered useful suggestions like a decentralized garbage system wherein each house of the sector has a composed pit within the premises, multi-level parking for each sector to reduce traffic congestion and strict obedience of rules and regulations by the citizens. During the camp, the citizens were advised to use the existing grievance redressal mechanism of the administration via the toll free number:155304, smart Chandigarh mobile app and website mygov.in so that the complaints and suggestions can be tracked and considered properly.

The 7th Smart City Consultation–cum-Grievance Reddressal camp to be held in Sector-35, Chandigarh had to be cancelled due to unavoidable reasons. The residents of the ward 15-16, will be soon informed about the new schedule of the camp.
