DC MODEL ALSO TAKES INITIATIVE TO USE SOLAR PANEL TO CONSERVE ENERGY

Panchkula-23-Sept.  Keeping in mind how to save energy and move towards green and clean environment DC Model Sr. Sec School on Wednesday moved a step closer by installing solar panels on its roof tops. The panel will help in energy conservation and will increase its capacity to generate energy. The 20 KWp Roof Top- Grid- Solar panel was inaugurated by the Director, Shri BB Gupta. The initiative taken by the school will meet the growing demand of energy due to maximum dependency on technology which requires high energy consumption. Shri BB Gupta proudly declared that the school has become self sufficient in meeting its demands of energy. The system is capable of connecting for Net Metering as well as power transfer for Roof Top Plants as per Notification from JERC regarding Renewable Energy evacuation. The system meets all technical standards set by CERC as well MNRE. It has been installed with the collaboration of Delta Power Solution India Ltd. and BOSCH limited.
