Administration’s First Smart City camp on17 Sept

Chandigarh, 16 September 2015:  Administration’s First Smart City Wcp will be held tomorrow (17-09-15) in Sector 46 Community Centre. In the second round of Smart City Mission for which Chandigarh has already qualified; the primary condition is the “Citizen Consultation” and to invite suggestions/ideas from all age groups of various professions living or working in the city through various traditional/modern modes of media like Facebook, email, website, mobile app,written suggestions and through  consultation camps to interact with residents of the city. 
 
In this direction, Chandigarh Administration has decided to start organizing Smart City cum Grievance Redressal consultation camps from tomorrow onwards. Administration has prepared schedule of 13 days to cover all the 26 wards of Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh. The consultation camps will be held by the concerned SDM -cum- Additional Commissioner Municipal Corporation along with the area councillors.
The first camp in this series will be held tomorrow i.e on 17.09.2015 for the Ward-21 & 23 (which will cover areas of Sector-32,46 under ward-21 and Karson Colons,Ramdarbar Ph 2, Indira Awas Colony,Hallo Majra,Bair Majra,Faidan,Burail and Char-Taraf-Burail under Ward-23). The camp will be held from 11:30 am onwards at ‘Community Center’ Sector-46. All the residents of these areas, members/representatives of the RWA (Resident Welfare Association) are invited to participate actively. The stakeholders are also requested to bring their submissions in written form. People may submit the problems related to their ward/areas and also may submit the proposal/solution to the common problems being faced by residents of the area.
 Also, the recently appointed Nodal Officers of the MC for respective wards will also be present during the program. The Consultation Camp on tomorrow will be kick started by the Nodal Officer for Chandigarh Smart City Mission-cum-SDM East  Sh.Danish Ashraf in the presence of SDM (South),Sh.Kashish Mittal and SDM(Central), Sh.Prince Dhawan.
