​Chandigarh, September 11 – Principal Secretary, Cooperation, Haryana, Mr. Sudhir Rajpal said that all candidates contesting Panchayati Raj Elections would have to obtain no due certificate regarding clearance of their overdue loans taken from Central Cooperative Banks, Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies or Primary Cooperative Agricultural and Rural Development Banks. He said that in this regard, Haryana State Cooperative Apex Bank, Chandigarh and Haryana State Cooperative Agricultural and Rural Development Bank Ltd., Panchkula has directed all Central Cooperative Banks and District Primary Agricultural and Rural Development Banks to issue No Dues Certificate without any delay to all candidates contesting Panchayati Raj Elections. Apart from this, he said that Registrar Cooperative Societies, Mr. Wazeer Singh Goyat has directed all Chief Executive Officers and General Managers to set up a special counter in all Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies (PACS) and bank branches and engage dedicated staff in it. They would carry out all works related to issuing of No Dues Certificates to candidates contesting Panchayati Raj Elections. If any PACS Manager or Branch Manager does not issue No Dues Certificate then the candidate could apply to concerned Assistant Registrar Cooperative Societies. After that the concerned Assistant Registrar would have to deal it on the same day. No negligence would be tolerated in above case and if any employee or officer is found accused of negligence or causing delay then immediate departmental action would be taken against him as per rules.
