Hafed sold 1.67Lcks MT urea
Chandigarh, September 10 – Haryana State Co-operative Supply and Marketing Federation Limited (HAFED) has sold consumer products worth Rs 22.89 crore from April 1, 2015, to July 31, 2015.
Giving this information here today, Haryana Minister of State for Cooperation, Mr Bikram Singh Yadav, said that HAFED had sold 1.67 lakh metric tonnes of urea and 0.43 lakh metric tonnes of DAP from April 1, 2015, to August 27, 2015.
He said that HAFED had purchased 29.55 lakh metric tonnes of wheat during the current Rabi-2015 season and lifted 23.23 lakh metric tonnes of wheat till August 18, 2015, in the financial year 2015-16. The Federation has made adequate arrangements for procurement and storage of wheat in the subsequent Rabi-2015 season, he added.
Mr Yadav said that 30.88 lakh quintals of sugarcane have been crushed by the HAFED Sugar Mill at Assandh during the current crushing season and so far, an average of 10.19 per cent sugar recovery has been achieved.
Besides, 9.85 lakh metric tonnes paddy was procured during the Kharif-2014 season, which constitutes about 33 per cent of the total paddy procured by all the agencies of the State against the allocated share of 30 per cent. HAFED also purchased 1,563 metric tonnes of Basmati paddy on commercial basis in this period.
The Minister said that approximately 6.57 lakh metric tonnes Custom Milled Rice (CMR) has been delivered to the Food Corporation of India (FCI) till date, which constitutes about 99.60 per cent of the total rice to be delivered.

Chandigarh, September 10 – The State Election Commission, Haryana has directed all voters of the respective area who have been issued the Electoral Photo Identity Cards for Assembly and Lok Sabha Elections and the Electoral Photo Identity Card numbers have been mentioned in the Panchayat voters list also, would have to produce these cards when they come to the polling stations for voting, to cast their vote for PRIs elections scheduled to be held on October 4, 11 and 18, 2015.
While stating this here today, the State Election Commissioner, Haryana, Mr. Rajeev Sharma said that if any electors had not been issued Electoral Photo Identity Cards by the Election Commission of India, he/she will have to establish his/her identity by producing documents, such as – Driving License, Income Tax Identity (PAN) Card, Service Identity Card issued to employees by Central or State Government Offices, Public Sector Undertakings, Local Bodies or other public Limited Company, Pass Book of accounts, having photograph, opened in a scheduled bank or post office, Freedom Fighter Identity Card having photograph, SC/ST/OBC certificate having photograph, issued by competent authority, Certificate of Physical Handicap having photograph issued by the Competent Authority, Arms License having photograph, Job Cards with photograph issued under the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, Property documents with photographs such as Pattas, Registered Deeds etc, Pension Documents such as Ex-Servicemen Pension Book/Pension Payment Order, Ex-Servicemen’s Widow/Dependent Certificate, Old Age Pension Order, Widow Pension Order, with photograph, Health Insurance Scheme Smart Cards with Photograph, Ration Cards or any other similar documents establishing the identity of the electors to the satisfaction of the Presiding Officer, having photograph, Aadhar Card issued by UIDAI and Passport.
In case of an odd elector, who does not have any of the above cards would be allowed to vote, if he/she was able to establish his/her identity to the satisfaction of the Presiding Officer and such other Polling Officer authorized by the Presiding Officer in this behalf, he added.
Chandigarh, September 10- The State Election Commission, Haryana has specified that during the Panchayat General Elections for all the Sarpanches, members of Zila Parishads and member of Panchayat Samitis in Panchkula and Rewari district, for which poll would be held on October 4, October 11 and October 18, 2015, the votes shall be given by recording of votes by Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and in case of all Panches and all members of Panchayat Samitis excluding Panchkula and Rewari districts, votes shall be given by ballot.
