PANCHKULA SMART CENTE INAUGRATED
Panchkula, 9 September: E- Services should reach to every household in the city. In order to ensure services to each and every home Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue Department Haryana Dr. Dalip Singh has inaugurated Panchkula Smart Centre in Industrial Phase – 2 near Power Colony. After inauguration while talking to the media persons he said that the government has started type of 20 E-services facility in various departments for the benefits of the people. He further said that under Digital India Programme, E-Services is provided through CSCs. With opening of Panchkula Smart Centre in the city, there would be less burden on the main offices and people will be facilitated at their doorstep. He said that in Panchkula Smart Centre, the facilities like: Vehicle Registration, Driving License, Caste and Resident Certificate, Senior Citizen Card, Birth-Death Certificate, Economic Backward Certificate, Income Certificate for Education, Passport, Electricity-Water Bill Payment, updation of Adhar Card, Voter Card Form, Stamp paper etc. facilities are provided on this centre. A nominal fee according the government norms will be charged. He said that E-governance will bring transparency in the government working. Due to E-Registration, registration of property has increased manifold. He said that from 25 December to till date 3 Lakh, 50 Thousand Registries have been done through E-Registration. The file which is deposited at 11.00 AM in the office get due instruction on it by 3.00PM. Deputy Commissioner Vivek Atray added that apart from this center, two smart centers will be open soon in the city, One in Community Centre, Sector 4, MDC and the other in the Office of Haryana Electricity Department, Gandhi Chowk, Kalka. He said that the employees will be available in these centers from 9.00 AM to 2.00 PM as per the schedule. Employees will be deployed on Monday and Tuesday in Industrial Area, Centre, Wednesday and Thursday in Community Centre, Sector 4, MDC and Friday and Saturday in Kalka to provide E-Services to the People. Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue Department Haryana Dr. Dalip Singh has distributed Birth-Death Certificates, Senior Citizen Certificates and other Certificate to the people present on this occasion. On this occasion Ambala Division Commissioner, Neelam P. Kasni, SDM Mamta Sharma and other members of the administration were also present
