Mohali Mayor’s election put off,Now election will be held on28 August When the SAD-BJP Combine failed to get the support of three independent Councillors they created ruckus and disrupted the election process. Outside the MC ,Bhawans’ premises,the supporters of the Congress and SAD clashed forcing the police to resort to a mild lathi charg Divisional Commissioner Ropar S Karuna Raju after leaving the venue said that now election will be held on August 28 for which the notice had been issued.
